Moore in the Netherlands takes a
major step forward for the SME Sector

SME entrepreneurs play a vital role in driving growth, innovation and competitiveness across the Netherlands and Europe. To strengthen this position, Moore in the Netherlands is continuing to expand its organization. Today, Moore announces that Improven intends to join the firm, a well‑established consultancy that supports organizations through complex (financial) transitions and high‑impact change projects. This marks the addition of a completely new service line to the accountancy and advisory organization: consultancy.

Improven employs more than 200 professionals, works with over 40 associates, and collaborates with a broad network of interim specialists. Its client base includes large organizations as well as major family‑owned businesses within the SME segment. It is within this latter group that the connection with Moore in the Netherlands naturally emerges, as Moore focuses specifically on supporting SME entrepreneurs. For Improven, this presents an attractive opportunity: it enables them to help organizations end‑to‑end, from improving performance to managing large‑scale, complex transformations.

The firms also share a common approach: instead of delivering extensive reports, they focus on designing practical, effective solutions and supporting clients in implementing them.
Another key consideration is the international dimension. Moore in the Netherlands maintains close relationships with Moore Belgium, Moore Kingston Smith (United Kingdom), and other European member firms. Improven itself has offices in Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom, which further strengthens the ability to support clients with international operations.

Approval for the integration of Improven has been requested from the ACM.

Recently, the ACM indicated it has no objections to the merger between Moore DRV and Moore MKW.
