Tim Kortekaas

Tim Kortekaas has been with Moore DRV since 2019. He started his career with the firm as an intern and joined the organisation full-time after completing his studies. Tim obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Control from The Hague University of Applied Sciences, followed by a Master’s degree in Controlling from Nyenrode Business University.

As a Senior Advisor for Grants & Innovation, Tim helps entrepreneurs achieve their growth, innovation and sustainability ambitions. His strength lies in translating complex challenges into practical opportunities. By analysing business challenges, investment plans and long-term objectives, he develops tailored grant and innovation strategies that contribute to the strategic development of organisations.

Tim has extensive experience with grant applications and innovation projects across a wide range of industries. His particular expertise lies in the greenhouse horticulture sector, where he advises entrepreneurs on investments in sustainability, the energy transition, digitalisation and innovative cultivation methods. In addition, he supports projects in industries such as manufacturing, logistics, renewable energy and the circular economy, where innovation and future-proof entrepreneurship are key.

Together with the Grants & Innovation team, Tim provides both strategic and technical advice to entrepreneurs. He helps identify future plans, investment opportunities and innovation challenges, assesses which grant schemes are available and guides clients throughout the entire process—from identifying opportunities and preparing a strong application to project administration and final accountability.
