Maarten Molenaars
Meet Maarten Molenaars
Maarten Molenaars has been director of the IT Consultancy & Analytics department at Moore DRV since January 2025. His career within the organization began back in 2019, when he joined as an intern. In the years that followed, Maarten held several positions, from innovation employee and (junior) project controller to manager IT Consultancy & Analytics. His rapid development across both the IT and Business Intelligence domains reflects his curiosity, strategic insight, and talent for connecting technology with business processes.
Maarten studied at Inholland University of Applied Sciences, where he completed his Bachelor of Business Administration in 2019. He then obtained a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from Tilburg University.
Over the past few years, Maarten has gained extensive knowledge in the field of IT and Business Intelligence. Through close collaboration with clients and colleagues, he has grown into an advisor who knows how to translate IT and data into practical solutions. He understands what entrepreneurs need and, together with his team, responds to those needs in a focused and effective way.
Smart it and data as the foundation for growth
As Director of IT Consultancy & Analytics, Maarten leads a team of 25 to 30 IT consultants and data analysts. The department focuses on efficiently structuring application landscapes and making smart use of data. The goal? To help organizations work more efficiently and effectively by automating processes and creating insights. Preparing businesses for the future and ensuring they don’t miss any opportunities.
One project Maarten is particularly proud of is the launch of standard BI dashboards on Moore DRV’s own data platform. This offers an accessible entry point and makes data-driven working attainable for every SME. The platform also serves as the foundation for further development in the use of data and AI within the organization and for our clients.
A strategic sparring partner for entrepreneurs
Maarten combines his knowledge of IT, data, and business operations with strategic insight and a practical approach. In doing so, he helps entrepreneurs who want to digitalize their organization, improve processes, or gain more control over their figures and operations. He knows how to translate complex issues into concrete solutions that deliver real value for the client, always tailored to the entrepreneur’s specific situation.
The department’s vision for the future
In the coming years, Maarten aims to contribute to the continued growth of the IT Consultancy & Analytics department and to develop it into an indispensable part of Moore DRV. Data is becoming increasingly important, and his ambition is to play an active role in the organization’s evolution into a fully data-driven service provider.
In addition, he closely follows developments in machine learning and artificial intelligence. He sees many opportunities to apply these technologies in practical ways ,both within the organization itself and for clients.
