Meet Anneloes Boekhorst
Anneloes Boekhorst has been working at Moore DRV since April 2021 as Head of the Fiscal Technical Bureau. In this role, she is responsible for safeguarding and further developing technical quality within the tax and payroll service lines. With her many years of broad experience in tax advisory and a strong technical foundation, she actively contributes to future-proof, practical services.
Anneloes studied Tax Law at Tilburg University, where she obtained her master’s degree in 1999. In 2016, she completed the Post-Master Tax Assurance programme at the same university. She has been active in tax advisory since 1998 and has gained extensive experience in corporate income tax for SMEs, large organisations and semi-public institutions.
While taxation is often seen as traditional, her strength lies in translating complex legislation into clear, workable frameworks. What does new legislation mean in practice for entrepreneurs? How do you ensure that rules are not only applied correctly, but also work well within an organisation? This combination of technical depth and practical applicability is at the heart of her work.
Quality as a foundation
Within Moore DRV, Anneloes leads the Fiscal Technical Bureau. This specialised team supports advisers with complex tax issues, safeguards technical standards and develops policies and guidelines.
In addition to managing the team, Anneloes advises quality leads within the organisation. She ensures that tax knowledge remains up to date and is applied consistently across all offices. Through close collaboration with the Accounting Technical Bureau, compliance and other staff departments, the firm’s services remain strong in content and consistent in approach.
This focus on technical quality is firmly rooted in her own career. For example, during tax proceedings, a tax inspector referred to a position she had previously published in an article. She was also involved in the first horizontal monitoring agreement between a housing corporation and the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration, an important step in the further professionalisation of cooperation between government and organisations.
Innovation and development
The Fiscal Technical Bureau focuses not only on quality assurance, but also on innovation. Technology plays an increasingly important role in this. By designing processes more efficiently and making knowledge more accessible, ensuring our tax services are fit for the future.
In addition, Anneloes works with Learning & Development to develop internal training courses and learning programmes. The goal is clear: to support advisers with up-to-date knowledge, practical tools and efficient working methods, enabling them to advise entrepreneurs effectively.
For Anneloes, the Fiscal Technical Bureau is inseparable from people development. Training, mentoring and challenging advisers are essential to achieving sustainable quality.
Looking ahead
In recent years, Moore DRV has grown significantly. This growth calls for clear frameworks, consistent ways of working and continuous innovation. Through the Fiscal Technical Bureau, Anneloes aims to contribute to the further development of Moore DRV as a robust quality-driven organisation, ready for the future.
The focus lies on the responsible use of technology and on strengthening specialist knowledge within the organisation. Technology and people must reinforce each other to deliver the highest possible quality to entrepreneurs.
Active beyond Moore DRV
Alongside her work at Moore DRV, Anneloes is a board member of the Zeeland/West Brabant Fiscal Study Circle Foundation. This foundation organises academic-level study sessions in support of the regional SME tax practice.
She is also active in a parents’ committee. Combining work, family and community involvement requires balance, but fits well with her motivation to help create a positive environment for children and to work with others on practical solutions.
